Our Focus

Carbon reduction

Carbon dioxide is being produced at a rampant rate of up to 1% year on year. This has led to major global shifts in climate, from severe hurricanes to devastating fires, it all stems from the overproduction of carbon. Green Hub aims to facilitate companies in offsetting their environmental damage, in particular carbon pollution, with the goal of removing 10,000 tonnes of carbon in our first year through both direct carbon capture and reforestation projects.

Plastic removal

8 million pieces of plastic ends up in our oceans everyday. Such large quantities of plastic not only contributes to global warming, as toxic gases are released, but it threatens wildlife by disrupting food chains and physically tangling animals. As well as the extensive quantities of micro plastic we allow to end up in our water systems. At Green Hub we feel responsible in providing a platform where both individuals and companies are able to mitigate against these problems by helping in the cleanup.

Environmental preservation

Regardless of our offsetting efforts the pre-existing damage done to wildlife and its ecosystems needs to be reversed, as in the UK nearly 50% of all biodiversity has been lost. This is why at Green Hub we aim to restore significant biodiversity back into these ecosystems and support the growth of endangered species. Green Hub facilitates the regeneration of these ecosystems by following wildlife projects and reintroduction programmes to ensure the health of such areas.
